May’s most giftable list: Holiday 2018

Every year I come up with my best or most giftable ideas and share them here with you! I know it can be challenging to find gifts for some people on the list, so I hope I can help! Note that I have no affiliation with any of the companies/products, just really great things I love. There may be some affiliate links – using those does nothing but help keep the lights on here at this blog. So thank you in advance should you use them!

Pusheen Cross Stitch Kit is something that got me started on Cross Stitch – and the patterns are easy enough that my daughter Rebecca (age 11) is hard at work on them and loving it!

Planners, notebooks and even pens (Pengems!) make my list of giftables. I got a few people pens, and I’m eyeing these Doodlebug notebook covers now! Scrapbook.com has a wide selection – so cute!!

We loved the game Villainous (click image above to see product) – and I think it would be a great adult or teen gift to anyone who is a little on the wicked side. I did a full review of it here.

Here are a few go-to favorites of mine always:

  • Local finds (honey, jam, “only found here”) to mail/gift to those far away
  • Etsy/independent creators! Easy to find custom/never before seen stuff for a lot of folks jewelry to mugs
  • Gift cards (watch for a whole post on dressing these up!) are always smart!
  • Something homemade! Bread to ornaments – why not make a little something?

If you’ve got someone into… well just about any fun stuff from Star Wars to Disney to Cartoon to Pop Culture funky stuff… BoxLunch probably has you covered. This has become my girls #1 favorite store to visit – and online has some great stuff too.

Got someone into Bible Journaling? Or that could become into it? You can get Sandy Allnock’s new book and workbook (signed!) from Ellen Hutson.com.

Here is my Amazon ‘giftable’ list that I add to as I find things and gift them!

Now it’s your turn – I am in need of more ideas this year so please do feel free to share your favorites!

Around here: November 2018

We are in full glitter & sparkle holiday mode over here – I even found scissors! Had to replace a pair you see I accidentally cut into thick wire (didn’t realize!) and ruined an old pair. Dang! So when I found these sparkly ones at JoAnn fabric I couldn’t pick and brought them both home.

What else is going on? A whole lot!

Review: Food Stirs kits

One of my current goals is to get the girls engaging more in crafty and “non technology/screens” type things. So when I came across FoodStirs, a company that has some seriously fun and organic baking kits I decided to try them out!

This company has no idea who I am/not associated with them in any way. I will include some affiliate links later as some of their mixes are widely available. At the time I am writing this post, the girls have tested several months (I got them a 3 month gift subscription) and we’ve tested a few of their baking mixes as well. Above you can see the movie night cupcakes (SO GOOD!) that Elizabeth made for us just this week.

The idea of organic + super cute and fun baked goods to get the girls creating and learning? Heck yes! I will tell you the short review right now: this would make a wonderful gift for someone!
