Review: Plated

I was trying to figure out how to plan more veggie heavy interesting meals AND get the kids to take over some more cooking when their dad (who is our main family chef) is at work. He suggested I try one of the home delivery meal services – and wow did that work out well!

ScanNCutDX: Cutting out a stamp mask

One of the first things I learned to do with my ScanNCut – and still one of my favorites – is cutting around stamped images.

You simply can not beat cutting out stamped images with the ScanNCut because it gives you total control! You can have a negative, none, or a positive outline around the line in any size you want. What could make it better? It is super easy and you can do it with multiple stamps at the same time as well.

DIY wooden houses

The other day I was at the craft store and 2 for $1 I found these little wood shapes – so much possibility! I could get crazy with clay or stenciling or all kinds of seasonal looks – but for today I wanted to make some simple houses for my holiday decor. From birdhouses to boxes I love decorating wood shapes with scrapbook paper!
