28 Lilac Lane with Buttons Galore – CHA 2016 booth

Today I’ve got a photo tour to share with you of my display in the Buttons Galore booth of my new line 28 Lilac Lane! My line has 12 kits (MRRP 8.99), 12 bottles (MSRP 4.99) and 6 sequin tins (MSRP 2.99) – so let’s take a look!

Each kit is displayed in an embroidery hoop as well as in its packaging. In the center you can see a display of what the colors/contents are within each bottle.

The bottles have sequins, beads, 1/2 pearls, and buttons. So many fun combos! Fun fact: every single bottle and kit has a story behind  the name and inspiration of how it came to be.

For example – the dragon fire (red) bottle is an ode to my eldest daughter who adores dragons + the color red. Toasted Graham (brown) is a nod to our rescue pup scrappy, as one of the colors is perfectly matched to her ‘graham’ coloring!

The little table in front of my display is where I did demos of the product line and spent time chatting to designers, store owners, and friends about the line.

So great to see so many friendly faces – and to share ‘sunshine’ with people too. Pictured below is Sandy Allnock – a dear friend, amazing artist, and lover of all things orange.

So cool to be able to show people what I’ve been working on and see all of the fellow creative people that share a love of embellishments and pretty buttons!

If you’re wondering about my samples/projects – some of them have already been featured here and those that have not will be featured in the coming weeks/months. 28 Lilac Lane will begin shipping in February to stores! If you’ve got a favorite store and want to see this line in stock do let them know they can contact Buttons Galore for information and wholesale ordering.

I didn’t get to walk the show floor as much as I’d like, but I did catch a few moments with some of my favorite people like Shimelle! I created her a custom blend from my line that will go with her amazing new line Star shine perfectly. I also had the chance to film with several people – including Christine of ScrapTime! You can see an exclusive demo video I shot for her here, or watch me pick out some favorites from the 28 Lilac Lane here.

Hard to believe the show is over – but now the real fun begins!! Soon the line will be shipping to stores and you’ll get to enjoy playing with these embellishments as much as I do! Thanks for reading and for all the great comments and support about my line!

  1. I would love to buy your product, but the only store near me that sells scrapbooking supplies is Michael’s. Will they be carrying Lilac lane?
