What happens when you layer distress stains, water, and emboss a stamped image somewhere in there? In my case, this card.
I couldn’t get the exact look I was going for, I’m still working out the kinks of my envisioned technique. But as it was a rainy day and I do quite like the results of this card, I had to share!
Will I ever get tired of coloring with distress products, water, and perfect pearls mists? Probably not.

I love it, May! The embossed bird is fabulous, and the background is oh, so pretty! I love the “halo” of light around the bird. Very cool!
I like this experiment. The way you blended the colors is fantastic.
Love the color combo you used with the distressed inks! The bird looks fabulous with that distressed background!
