This is one of the samples I made for CHA (for my new line 28 Lilac Lane) featuring the toasted graham bottle of embellishments. The whole card was done with distress ink + water. Really! The stamp used is one I found a while back at my local Michael’s.
Would you like to see a video how-to? Christine of ScrapTime filmed me at CHA and you can see it here!
Good brown embellishments are hard to find, so this bottle is a favorite for sure! Of course every one is a favorite. Want a fun fact about the Toasted Graham bottle? One of the colors is matched to my dog Scrappy’s chin – an area that we describe as graham colored.
The buttons & embellishments of 28 Lilac Lane will be coming to a store near you SO SOON! BE sure to check with your favorite shop if they’ve ordered- because the bottles begin shipping oh so soon and the kits are available/shipping now!

Am hoping to get some soon. Beautiful card. Really love the pet theme kit, too. Love all of them, it’ll be a hard choice for sure. Love my Distress ink. I still refer back to that Distress ink class, I just did a week ago. Anyway, great cards, thanks for sharing your projects. Michelle t
Super great video May…love your buttons, and the finished project. I could not understand the name of the adhesive you were using. Could you tell me again? Thanks for the inspiration. :o)
I love this card and Youtube demo. Can’t wait to get some bottles and try it out!
I’m looking forward to your line coming soon!! How will i choose?
Such a great card May. And Toasted Graham is one of the bottles on its way to me now. I think it will be perfect for pics of my dog, Jasmine!
Omgosh, this is stunning, May!! Gorgeous color and gorgeous image and super gorgeous design! You have really showcased your beautiful new embellishments here and made them shine. And brown is actually my favorite color, so I am quite literally swooning!
