Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp November 2013 Card Kit Blog Hop!

As always, I love taking part in Simon’s hops, and for this one I’ve made two projects. First up – a card.

I used a striped piece of paper + a number of stamps from this kit, and finished things off with sparkle.

I also was totally inspired by the stamps and papers to get working on a layout!

The “love this” stamp in this kit will definitely be used repeatedly on my layouts.

This layout made me realize (Whoops!) I forgot to share the finished journal I made for this trip- so I will be sure to share that next week. For now – here’s my page!

I used white memento luxe ink for the hearts (LOVE!) and I like those neutral papers so much mixed with the bits of color that came together so simply for this page. I tried fussing with it more – but nope. It wanted to just be as it is.

  69. Love, love, love this layout. The photo is post card perfect and should be center stage just like you did. I have a question if you possibly have time to answer. Did you ever find, especially in your early years of scrapbooking, that you purchase way too much of one artist’s line of products almost exclusively? Even though I love many different products, I seem to be purchasing an over abundance from one artist. I feel like I am being taken in by great advertising and buying product I may never use. If you ever felt this way, how did you talk yourself out of the need to have it all? Right now I am already using the idea of I need to be able to use a stamp or die many times or it is not worth the purchase. Thank you.
