One more Persimmon post – because I just can’t stop playing with this line.
I’m so NOT a yellow + orange person but something about mixing them with navy blue combined with the fall season and I love it.
I’ve had such a fun time sharing projects with you featuring this line all week – and now I’m ready to play mix & match and get this used in my regular stash, finish up an online course I want to launch soon, and so much more!! Off to the studio to create for me – have a great weekend.
I’m excited that the Basic Grey line Persimmon is finally out and in stores – and to celebrate this beautiful line I’m going to be bringing you a week full of projects.
First up, I’m warming up my inking skills and getting the stamps put to use!
I used distress markers to color the background leaves – oh how I love that stamp, as well as the Thanks is for Giving label stamp. I think I will have to incorporate them into my Thanksgiving table somehow this year.

It’s that easy, and totally a card that could be produced repeatedly with slight variations. No embellishments needed – just paper + stamps and you know I love that!

The new Simon Card kit is out – and I think it is my all time favorite! Over the next two weeks I’ll be sharing several cards, projects, and a video as well featuring the kit. First up – a giving thanks card.
I love the colors and details in this kit – the stamp set is a lot of fun and I adore the new Lawn Fawn papers and sequins in the kit as well.
