Yesterday I shared this project (and video tutorial)
Well, today I’m sharing the opposite.
From green to feelin’ lucky… it’s all about the clover this week!
Simon is offering a generous $50 voucher that will be randomly drawn from the eligible entries each week. Join the fun by creating a project this week – and for your chance to win a $50 voucher you should hop on over and join in the challenge here.
I used my new lucky stamp set from Lawn Fawn to create this card. It was such fun! Using watercolors to color the images in and then assembling and of course just a flick of gold – really had a good time making this one.
Supplies Used:
This card is made with a new Tim Holtz stencil. Paste. Heidi Swapp gold mist. As far as the background? I really can’t remember. Why? I was in the zone, man! I made all these backgrounds in a “I’m not feeling creative” frenzy and I think this one is distress and dylusions mists but I’m not sure.
But really? It’s cool. Because I tested a ton of new products, had a ton of fun, and ended up with backgrounds I have been turning into finished cards and projects! Expect to see more of these over the next few weeks.
Last week I posted the tutorial (here) for my daughter’s birthday party invitations. Thing is – I made more teacups than I needed. So… what to do? Make more cards, of course! Here’s how I used the trio of pre-painted/stamped cups on another card. Today is her birthday (and marks 10 years of me being a mom!) so seemed like a good day to share it.
I don’t often mass produce cards… but when my daughter requests party invitations that look like they are straight from the pages of an Ever After High book… well I can try to do that. MANY thanks to the amazing Tim Holtz who hooked me up with his new (and my current favorite!) die set so that I could make this happen!
This card was super fun – and I had just way too much fun with it so I simply must share a video tutorial!
