Today I wanted to share a type of card you don’t often see from me: 2 minute cards. While I adore stamping, color mediums, detailed techniques… sometimes I have leftover die cuts or stickers and just want something quick.
So, I grabbed some white cardstock and set a few things down.
I did end up grabbing a rhinestone star and a bit of trim for one – but just really simple design wise + no fancy layers or anything. Directly onto a card and go.
If you’re looking for these die cuts – Scrapbook.com has them (affiliate link used) they’re by Pink Paislee part of the Sweet Freedom line. This just felt like the perfect cards to make for today.
I hope you have a wonderful day – and to those in the USA – happy 4th of July! We’ll be relaxing quietly here and prepping for some camping next week…
I love that heart! Beautiful!!
Very nice cards. I love the Braver Together card. I will have to check out that Pink Paislee line. Thanks for sharing! Happy 4th of July!
another great card great idea for me am late sending out my cards this year. was
Cleaning off my craft table and surrounding areas instead. Feels great to have a clean space. Happy Fourth of July such fun. Childhood memories sparklers, camping and being with family. Celebrating with my own family watching the celebrations at the beach. Our son helped one year as he was a fireman and they were the ones who set them off.
Nice and simple, that’s how I like it
I love these cards – just effectively simple.
Great cards!
great and easy card for the holiday for when someone unexpected shows up at the door.
thanks
Its nice to be reminded that it doesn’t always have to involve lots of time and technique.
Cute cards & super fast way to make someone’s day, thanks May!
Love it-the collection is beautiful and sometimes simple really is best. Thank you for reminding me. Hope you and yours have a safe and happy 4th.
Thanks for the inspiration! I have that diecut set and hope to lift a few of these!
Happy 4th. Very pretty cards.
Those are beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Pretty cards! Happy 4th of july to all!
Very pretty! Taking it easy today but it’s too nice out to be indoors crafting. I might bring some crafty things outside to the table in the deck later on.
very fun- love the floral with the patriotic theme
Fun, simple and lovely cards. Thanks for the inspiration May. I hope you had time to spend with your family AND that you are feeling better.
Great cards! Michelle t
So cute….I love the simplicity!!!
Great use for extra die-cuts – which I’ve thought ever since I first saw you do this some months ago.
2 minute cards…what a concept! I tend to overthink things, so love the idea of a quick and easy approach to making cards.
Happy 4th of July to all of you in the US!
Great cards May – I’m inspired to pull out some scraps now!
Lovely cards May! I am now inspired to buy that collection. I was on the fence but after seeing your cards I know I need a few pieces. happy 4th!!!
Great way to use that stash and create some multi-use cards!
Thanks for the suggestions – I’m someone who prefers simple. Whoa, this doesn’t let me capitalize, and that’s a big no-no for me. Conventions are very important to my comprehension. Thanks for the link to the scrapbook.com
Oh, good, they showed up – all’s well. =)
Thank you as always! I really love these”quickies” because as I clean off my workspace I tend to have a pile of pieces, random pieces and I try to use everything! Actually I would love at some point a formulas class for using up the random pieces in productive ways…just a thought! Hugs!
These cards are so pretty – and a fresh take on a patriotic look. But then I love flowers. This would also be a good way to use 6×6 papers. Thanks for the ideas!
Quick cards are the best!
I love quick cards-great way to use up the bits and bobs leftover from a bigger project.
Sometimes simple is best :). They look great.
Super idea!!!! Simple and fun. :o)
Love how simple and fun these cards are. What a good way to use stash and create something when time is short or you just want to be doing.
