Sandy Allnock is super inspiring in all of her creative teachings, but she’s also a super kind person. In fact she sent me this amazingly beautiful blog post that I could share with all of you! How sweet is that? I hope you enjoy…

Hello there, friends of May! I’m Sandy Allnock and am delighted to guest for my friend May….she’s not a bigtime Copic gal but when I came up with this idea I knew this would be the perfect place to share it – I think this might just be the loosest coloring I’ve ever done!
I began by wanting to create dimension – and realized that this would look really cool with some superloose color sketched in. It’s so fast and easy – it just might be addictive! Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on Vimeo.
Sketchy Copic Coloring on Vimeo.
Wasn’t that easy peasy! Just think of all the stamp sets that could be colored this loose and free!
I also promised the sketch map in case that helps ya!
Thanks so much for visiting…and if you’re interested in more crazy coloring from me, head over to my blog. Oh and that class I spoke of? It’s right HERE.

love this!
Fun, easy, beautiful card! Thanks for the inspiration and get better soon, May!
Just wanted to say this card made me so happy! Loose, bright color will never go out of style and you’ve just demonstrated your casual mastery of this art we all love.
Sandy is so amazing, she makes me feel like I can do it, too! Love these bright colors, and I already have a serious addiction to doodly flower stamps. Might have to go do some stamping just so I can play with color! I hope you are better soon. won’t tell you what it took for me to recover, but then I’m old and falling apart. (nothing like falling apart to make you realize how easy it is to take a functional body for granted!!!) Take your time, May. we’d rather have you take it easy for a while and come back strong than to have you push your luck and have to retire early!
Very sweet of you, Miss Sandy, to help out May. YOur coloring is fantastic, although I think if I tried this technique, it’d look like a hot mess. I’m signed up for your class and I’m really looking forward to it.
Miss May, get better real soon!
I love the simplicity of this! I think I could do this too! May, heal quickly dear one. (I don’t know why I have no capital letters)
Oh, I DID HAVE CAPITAL LETTERS ONCE MY COMMENT WAS PUBLISHED.

I love that loose style and haven’t tried it with Copics yet but I loved your card Sandy so I’m going to try it. Thanks for the shading map.
I love the Doodle Buds. Thanks for the sketch map. The card is beautiful. I sure wish my Copic markers would come in.
Get well sooner, May.
Such a great card! Love the bright colours and the doodled stamps.
I love how Sandy coloured the background to match the colours on the stamps
