This tag was a lot of fun to make – and easy too! A lot of distress ink coloring, and a lot of layering too. I do love adding little details!
Notes on how-to:
- The main leaf was stamped with clear embossing powder then I used distress inks + perfect pearls mists over it (on book paper).
- The flower was dipped in UTEE
I love fall, I love leaves, and while you don’t have to do a fall themed project to participate – it sure is fun! I’m off to blend more ink colors and celebrate the start of October…
Love all the texture! And the velvety green ribbon…lovely!
Lovely tag May! The leaf is so pretty on the text paper and I love your UTEE flower.
Very pretty May. So many things about fall that you’ve captured on this tag. <3 Candy
Dipping the flower in UTEE… Now that is pure genius! Love it!
Lovely autumnal tag May, love your use of twine and the gorgeous autumnal coloured flower. Tracy x
I’m right there with you! I adore Autumn as well! It’s my favorite season, actually! I love how this tag came together with the touch of velvet texture, warm colors, & crinkly newspaper it captures Fall perfectly!

Congrats! I cannot wait to see what you create with Jenni Bowlin.
Yes, yes yes!!! Wholeheartedly agree. The flower was the first thing that caught my eye.
love that utee flower… I have never tried that.. hmmmmmm
Love the tag, and you reminded me that I have Utee flowers to finish and some to fix. I love the end result, but I need to find a pair of tweezers that truly are non stick.
LOVIN’ ths Autumn tag May! Fantastic layers and texture!
Great autumn tag – I love the crumpled text, delicious!
