What is Ranger sticky embossing powder? Think of it as if you had an embossing powder that acted like glue! It turns sticky when heated (just treat it like regular embossing powder) and you can use it to add sparkle to most any project. It would work with super fine sand, flocking, and other materials too. It works really great – I am very happy with the results!
Here is a quick video I made to show how it works:
You can order it now at Simon Says Stamp – as well as the stickles glitter and all the new ranger goodies too. With fall around the corner and the festive season coming soon – I see so much use for this in adding a bit of sparkle and magic to my projects!
Oooh, I am going to HAVE to have some of that! I’ve tried every glue pad under the sun with loose glitter, and nothing sticks. This and some KP stamps are going to have to go on my next Simon Says Stamp order. 🙂
Thanks for the tutorial. This looks like some fun stuff!
This is such a great idea. I love that. Definitely something to try. Thanks for sharing, Johanne L.
Does it stay sticky once after it cools off or does it loose its stickiness. Just wondering how much working time there is once it is heated.
Thwre have been times it took me a minute or two to find my glitter and get it applied and I had no problem. So yes it stays tacky. I wouldn’t do it an hour before or anything- but you do have time to carefully apply or apply multiple colors.
Looks like another must have! My Simon list continues to grow.
How fun !! Another item to add to that ever growing list.
Thanks for sharing this with us…it looks really, really cool!
How cool. Love the effect.
Oh wow that is really cool! Thanks May!
wow I love it!! I can see using this for alot of things. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the tutorial; it’s very helpful. I’m really loving your tag! Did you use several different colors of glitter? It’s fabulous!!
I am dying to get this. I have had no luck with glue pads and this sounds perfect. Of course it isn’t really out yet. The site said the middle of September. How can I wait that long!!
