Miss E meets her first Food Network Star…

Me and Miss E were gone all day yesterday… we had something very important planned…

She was somehow surprised to see the real Bobby Flay walk right in front of us. Also very nervous and excited. But that was our deal – this was her chance to meet Bobby, so she had to take her cookbook in to get it signed. I stood back…

She drew him photos of some of their mutual favorite foods. He talked to her about the pictures, about food… he was awesome. She was GLOWING when we walked out of the store.

“Bobby Flay is handsome in real life!” She exclaimed. She was wearing her BEST outfit for him, and she was thrilled to see him also wearing a pink shirt.

A memorable day indeed. Now to have Jason start cooking us stuff from Bobby’s new cookbook!!! (He touched it + signed it so all our dishes will come out great now, right?!)

  3. So glad she had such a great experience 🙂 ! I can tell that your daughter is in total awe. It is wonderful when celebreties live up to our expectations.

  5. Oh, how VERY exciting for Elizabeth! I followed it on twitter, and was so excited for her (and you!) How fun!!! I hope you loved it just as much as E did!!!

  6. I’m so so so happy that E had such a great experience meeting someone she admires. You are a cool Mama to make that happen. (Love the Gymboree outfit — we also love the panda line this year.)

  7. Seriously. You know how lucky you are…..right???? Here in Outer Mongolia (Seattle) we never get visits from the FNW stars. So. Jealous. 🙂

  8. That is just awesome! I love it when our girls get to do such amazing things. I don’t know if I would have been as poised as your baby girl was! I think I would have been way too giddy!

  9. Oh May that is just so sweet! She is just precious and you rock as Mom for taking her!! Thank you for sharing this with us, can’t wait to see the layout of it!
