Scrapbook Update… update.

I got a promotion over at Scrapbook Update – I’m now a Contributing Editor. I’ll still be doing reviews and all the articles you’re used to seeing from me. I’ve got quite a list of ideas going, and with CHA around the corner no doubt even more inspiration will be on the way. 2011 is going to bring SO MUCH CREATIVE FUN! I can tell already.

In fact – I’ve got a new article up! It’s all about rosettes (a hot & getting HOTTER trend now in scrapbooking) and I’ve got a new layout in there for you too. You can check it out here: http://www.scrapbookupdate.com/2011/01/18/trend-watch-rosettes/

  1. Congratulations May! What a honor for you, and a great addition for them 🙂 Off to look at your article 😉

  2. Great article – I am loving the rosettes too right now. Would love to get the Tim Holtz die to make it easier. On a side note, I tried your technique with the chicken soup (a few posts back) and diced everything really small. My kids loved it – said it was the best ever! I don’t know about that but to get my picky bunch to eat soup, I’ll take it! Thanks for the tip.

  3. Congrats on the promotion!
I have Tim’s rosette die & love it. I was thrilled to see that he’s coming out with a smaller size now too.
    Off to read your article…

  4. Congrats May. You deserve it. You are proof that if you want to have a career in scrapbooking that you need to get your name out there and have fantastic stuff! Please try and get back on the Paperclipping Round Table. You were fantastic on it 😀

  5. Congratulations on your promotion! Can’t wait to see even more of you at Scrapbook Update! And I agree that you were excellent on the Paperclipping Roundtable. More May! More May!!

  6. Congrats May! I love SU and I love reading your articles. I read your rosette and iphone story from my iphone on the train ride home tonight. 🙂 Thanks for keeping me entertained on my commute. One of my favorite articles you wrote was “A Banner Year” as I am addicted to banners. It is really great that you include sample layouts to show off trends.

  7. Congrats, May. You are one very busy lady with an amazing year to come. I love that you still find time to reply to our questions (feel like you are a personal friend). I am anxious to see what you have in store for us on your blog, at BPC, and where ever else your heart (and feet) may lead you this year. Now I must head over to the Update.
