Nov. 6th class:A very vintage {paper} Gingerbread house

Saturday November 6th at Scrapbook Territory in Berkeley, CA { }
11am – 1pm
cost: $24

This class is packed full of cheer and sweet detail to get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season. From glitter to buttons to paper and more I will provide everything you need to make your own little custom house to display and treasure for years to come. Yes- we’ll have plenty of goodies to play with and lots of options for customizing your house. Just imagine… all the fun of making a gingerbread house… but with scrapbook supplies!

This project features the brand new Tinsel & Twig line by the Girls’ Paperie, and you’ll love how festive and fun it is. In addition to the class project I will be sharing several never before seen project ideas (complete with photos in the class handout) as a special bonus, and there will be cupcakes and sweet treats (how could we have a gingerbread house class without them?!). To sign up contact Scrapbook Territory (Berkeley, CA) at 510-559-9929. Space is limited.

Supplies needed: scissors, black pen, inexpensive paint brush (to be used with adhesives), paper trimmer optional. Adhesives and all other materials will be provided

Note: if you’re not local and/or unable to attend I will have a few kits available for sale. You can e-mail me (mflaum @ comcast . net) if you’re interested in that option.

  1. Hi, May!

    Since I live in the Bay Area I got so excited when I saw that you are doing a class in Berkeley in early November! Then I realized that I will be flying to Seattle then to lead a workshop. 🙁 I’m a pretty big fan of your work–in fact, I was convinced that I was not a “vintage kind of girl” until I saw your stuff, with it’s unique, funky, dare I saw slightly modern twist to vintage?! Love it! Even though I am using my stash more thanks to your Big Picture class, I still had to check out some Webster’s Pages paper at Scrapbook Territory on Saturday!

    I’d love to buy the kit…how do I do that? Does it come with directions?

  2. Wow! I just found this site and wonder, do you have any kits still available to send? The G-bread house is wonderful!! Hope to hear from about the kit and look forward to hearing about classes in the future!
