words are tough. I remember very clearly sitting in front of the tv all day. Being at work and having ZERO customers. Searching for news of the loved ones inside the buildings. Even today the memories can bring me to tears, and I think that’s the way it should be.
I will not forget – just as I will not forget to be thankful to the men & women who put themselves on the line for the rest of us. To help us. Keep us safe. My husband is one of them – and I am proud of the work he does every day.
It might not be fancy or long winded, but thanks to those who serve now and remembrance of those who’ve lost their lives is what I’ve got today.
