1am Saturday:

Here’s a layout using kraft paper (a nod to my Big Picture make & take). This is my first time playing with Heather Bailey. WHOA. I love her paper now that I’ve got it in hand. Didn’t really understand draw of it on-line, but now that I’ve got it? I GET IT. Oh and PS- it’s 1am. Thus the poor quality kitchen-lit photos.

I love mixing the kraft with a bright and busy pattern. Totally makes a nice resting place for my photos in my book. Ok, and LOVE about this page? Those toes. AHHHH. Love my girls fat baby toes!!!

For the heart I freehand stitched the trim on there (making up the heart as I went) and then decided I wished I had filled it in with a solid color cardstock or something. Instead I put a thin layer of Golden molding paste for coverage and texture, and then once dry I added wet adhesive + glitter. LOVE IT!!!

Oh, and check those epoxy hearts. More of the Heidi Grace hearts I love. In fact (prize coming…) I’ve got SIX envelopes, each with a sheet of Heidi Grace epoxy hearts. Want them? Just leave a comment here, I’ll draw a winner soon.

In cropping news this is all I’ve completed. Why? Well I got chatty with my dear cousin (who is more like a sister) and we got giggling, and I can’t talk on the phone in my studio due to thin wall and sleeping baby… so I vegged out tonight. It was GOOD for me though, so I’ll just have to craft even more today! (it’s 1am, so it is indeed Saturday!)

  1. Wonderful! If only we could all be that productive at 1am! 😉 Seriously getting more kraft into my pages and LOVE it.

  2. Love the Heather Bailey stuff as well & like you I have not used it. Will have to try the Kraft mat. Love the embellishment. Here’s to a productive day!

  3. Wow May, you are up late. I stayed up until midnight for the 30 hour crop, but needed some sleep!

Love your cute little toes LO. You have such creative ideas.

    Thanks for the fun RAK.

I wasn’t sure about those papers either when I saw them online… but they work well with some ‘restful for the eyes’ cardstock!

  5. You always have such a creative way of mixing things up! Love what you did with this layout!
