Elizabeth got her ears pierced yesterday, after a full week or more of begging. She was super good about it really- She understood there would be a earring, you know, PIERCING her ear. She’s totally showing off her sparkly lobes now. To anyone who comes close.

and here is miss Rebecca about 3 minutes ago.

I like to imagine what she’s thinking and what she would say if she could speak english. Right now I think I know. It would be something like this-

What do I touch first? Mommy never ever lets me in her studio. Oh man. So cool. I want to touch each thing and take it out of the box. Then step on them. Then growl like a bear. Then stand up. Then. Oh man. more things to touch. must. take. every. item. out. of. box.

disclaimer #1: no scrapbook supplies were harmed during this play session. All items were returned to rightful homes unharmed.

disclaimer #2: Yes, I am VERY aware of the mess that lurks behind that closet door. working on it now…

  1. forgot to tell Elizabeth congratulations on getting her ears pierced! they look great.

  2. First, I am unable to get my 4 year old daugther to get her ears pierced. She is too afraid of the pain! We have been in the chair twice……and paperwork completed and then she backs out! She won’t even talk about it again so I think I will wait until she isn’t as afraid of pain!

Second, what a darling picture of your daughter in your supplies. I’m pretty sure that is the same way I would look if you let me into that same box of supplies. I was all ready to volunteer to take any damaged goods off your hands and then you had to go and spoil my fun by saying nothing was damaged! LOL

  3. Aww… Miss E is adorable! Pretty ears!

Little Rebecca, how cute! checking out the goodies…hey just send a bunch my way and then you won’t have as much to store ! LOL

  5. Too cute! Love Miss E’s sparkly ears. What a brave girl. Tell her congrats.

I remember getting my ears pierced when I was 15. I was so brave sitting on that stool. I didn’t even cry. Went next door to the drug store to get rubbing alcohol and woke up on the floor. Can you believe I fainted! The one and only time I ever fainted was after getting my ears pierced. lol

I love the pics of little Rebecca. She is having a ball rooting through all the scrapping goodies. Looks like a future scrapper to me. lol

  6. How cute Elizabeth looks with those sparkly ears and how brave she was!

I love those pictures of Rebecca and her exploring moments. I see she has an eye for all the pretties just like her Mom. I think I would love to come play with her! LOL
