a steampunk-y spooky kind of card

skull card

I created this skull card a while back on Periscope (periscope.tv/craftwithmay is where you can find me) and am finally getting around to sharing it! I used all kinds of color mediums from distress spray to watercolor and had a whole lot of fun with this old stamped image. Yes, the edges are torn out of the pad of watercolor paper, and yes I love a raggedy edge card!

My challenge to myself was to be “more masculine” and I’m happy with how it came out. As I said earlier this week making time for creative play is a good thing… I’m glad I did on this busy day to create this card.

HaveĀ  very happy and crafty weekend!

  1. woohoo! steampunk, way to go May! it’s a great masculine card, love the way it looks like it was ripped out of a notebook!
