Citrus with a Twist

This week’s challenge was citrus – so I grabbed my orange, yellow, and of course “twisted citron” distress. I sprayed my tag down, then added paste and misted again! Loving the texture I got here in the background.

Then for my bird it was all about the watercolor paper and fluid colors (same with leaves)  and what a good time I had getting crazy with a color palette I don’t normally use. Now I’m hungry for a good orange, tangerine, or maybe some lemon lime soda!

  1. this tag is so so cute. I love the twisted citron! the bird is darling. the whole thing is just amazing. I saw something that you( or someone else did, lol ) put out about buttons. I have about a million buttons tucked away, all sorted by colors and type. I might have to get some out. thanks for sharing with us

  2. Beautiful zesty colours and I love the textured background, which compliments the stamped image perfectly ~ gorgeous tag, May! 🙂

  3. I adore this little tag! Not only is the color palette so refreshing, but the textures on this are fantastic! Love how the harlequin pattern in the back pairs with the soft lines of the bird. And those leaves! If that were a real tree, I’d buy them to surround my whole entire house. LOVE THEM!
