Goal: To be done with any Christmas shopping, and “to mail” crafting before November 1
Can I do it? I’m not so sure but I am falling in LOVE with the idea of doing any shopping very early, then simply sitting back and SOAKING UP the magic of the season. This week at the challenge blog “fall in love” is the theme, and I have to go with my current fixation (aka finishing Christmas shopping super early) and also with the technique used to create this card!
How-to is super easy. Just emboss foil cardstock. Then paint it green (I used some old acrylic paint I had laying around – any would do!). Then scrape off a LOT of the paint. A LOT. Now go to town with alcohol inks to color!
Once all that is done, all you need to do is add some embellishments and give it a good healthy squirt of my favorite perfect pearls mist. Done!
This is a favorite – and one I will actually use to top a gift box and not as a card.

I am certain you can achieve your goal. If I remember correctly, you made it last year. It is so much better to be able to enjoy the last few weeks before Christmas than to be running around like a crazed person not able to enjoy the beauty of the season and your family.
