Scarlet Lime main August 2010 kit:

This kit makes me feel such a craving for fall and cooling weather – is summer over yet? (I’m ready for it to be!)

The plaid paper (LOVE it) was too orange for any of my pics, so rather than use something else I used Kaiser Craft cream paint on it to make it more subtle. Then cut it up and used it with my photo (that has Rhonna Farrer border/edgers on it).

From there, just a hop skip and jump to being pretty in plaid! For the second layout…

Things got pretty wild. I had all these ideas and I just kept trying things!

Primary colors (red + blue + yellow) being used together is so hot right now – shocking to me is that a) it’s a hot thing and b) I am using & liking it!

The blue & white dots are smooch ink on this page. Love adding little dots on my pages! To see the other designers work or view the whole kit you can check out www.scarletlime.com

  1. Adding Smooch ink to my list of ‘must-haves’. Great layouts, May! I’m not quite ready for cooler weather just yet…ask me again in another couple of weeks. 😉

  2. Don’t wish your summer away – we are in the middle of winter and I would love a little summer right now.

  3. Fantastic LOs! Love that border punch you used on the first one. And the colours in the 2nd are just great

  4. Can you tell me the name of the Rhonna Farrer digital item you used for the picture borders. She has so much I’m having a really hard time finding it. Thanks!!
