Do crafts cross-pollinate for you?
For me, I don’t draw lines where things can and can’t be used. If something is useful to me, it’s good and I like it. If I want it bad enough, I’ll figure out a way to make it work.
A bit random, I know but here’s a key example…
It was love at first sight for me, and I was thrilled to have the chance to review the brand new line of jewelry from Making Memories. You can see my article here: http://www.scrapbookupdate.com/2010/03/26/review-making-memories-vintage-groove-jewelry/
Hope you’re had a lovely weekend. I’m taking a few quick breaths before catching back up on e-mail, and diving into more articles and fun projects!
May, that multi-layered necklace is absolutely beautiful! Nice work on the article also. Always a fan of your reviews!
Wow! I didn’t even hear that MM was doing this! Love the “funky” necklace you made. And your LO with the jewelry stuff looks amazing. I’ve always been kind of scared to get into jewelry making because I was afraid I would get too addicted, but you make it seem even more tempting!
Lovely stuff! Wow. Crafts definitely cross-pollinate for me. 🙂 Sewing and knitting have both shown up on layouts…and I have plans to make jewelry using some lovely little paper scraps I’ve been saving. Love the cross-over!
I see lots of stuff I could use for LOs here! Yum!
After reading your post, I found the whole line at my local Target…so many fun choices!! I ended up with a kit so that I could give it a try but I’m already planning what I want next.
Thanks May!
Love your article and love that line! You made very beautiful jewerly!!
I agree with you. I just bought a grab bag of bits & pieces that were originally on bracelets & necklaces & my 1st thought was , “Wow, that would look great on a card”.
Yes that happens to be all the time and thanks for the link to the article and oh what pretties you made!
