What’s black and red and cream all over?

A: Jenni Bowlin’s November kit. (sigh)

001

I purchased it for 2 reasons:

1. Red damask exclusive rub-on. I needed it. I need to do a whole post about this rub-on design. (noted & added to my to-do list)

 2. 3 sheets of core’dinations cardstock included. If you are a regular reader then you know I’ve been doing quite the impatient dance waiting for this product.

It helped of course that the rest of the kit was lovely and I wanted to use the new papers and such – and I’m glad I got it! It came in the mail and I made time to play a bit over the weekend…

FUN.

If you don’t know – Core’dinations makes cardstock that has a ‘core’ that is different in color from what you see – so if you sand it the other color shows through. It is so fun. When I saw them paired with Jenni I freaked right out. I’ve been excited & anxiously awaiting the release ever since.

At this time I’d like to make a request for MORE. To be helpful, I’ll suggest a mossy (think Savannah in spring) green, a sea glass aqua, lilac, a rosy pink color, and also perhaps some rusty/coppery metallic tone too. Oh, understand I’ll be purchasing ANY color Jenni + Core’dinations get together and create. It’s that cool. I just know you’re supposed to put your wishes into writing to help them come true, so there you go.

Happy Crafting ~

PS- This cardstock will be great for holiday projects. I’m off to see what I can come up with.

  1. so…. did you emboss the core’dinations with a 12 x 12 machine?? or does it come that way in Jennie’s kit?? cuz i have two stacks of core’dinations paper, black and brown, and wanting the white wash!! LOVE that stuff!! and just discovered the Cuttlebug embossing toy!!! yeesh, like i need any more tools!!

  2. The Jenni Bowlin cardstock comes embossed! Oh how I love it. The package of cardstock comes 4 designs in 5 colors (20 sheets total). In her Nov. kit she included 3 sheets (all different) to try it out. LOVE!!

  3. I love this kit!!!! I ordered it when I joined your class. Beautiful.
I also ordered Cocoa Daisy because I won my spot in your class and they have some divine BG paper I love in their kit. They were out of the accessory kits but that was OK because I was able to order a couple of the co-ordinating items and so saved a few bucks.
Getting back to JB – I love this kit because the reds are slightly muted ans seem to go better with a lot of things.

  4. Isn’t this a fun kit? I played with it over the weekend too … SO much fun. **adore** the cardstock. Thanks for the discount code, you made enabling easy! 😉

  5. New idea I saw here…you machine stitched with red rather than just white-loved it 🙂 You will eventually get me to pull the sewing machine out won’t you? Kim (from our class) has inspired me with the whole “ticket” concept so I just headed over to Scrapbook.com and ordered, ordered, ordered. Am intrigued with all the old fashioned paper that Jenni Bowlin’s line carries so I am headed over there next.

Loved the layouts, and May…you ARE losing weight-it is showing in your pictures. Good for doing that!
