DCWV Fridays | Coral Couture layout + give-away

Congrats Julie Corrigan (I emailed you) – you’re last week’s winner!

Today I’m diving back into my Coral Couture stack and playing with more of the cardstock to create a simple (but one of my recent faves!) layout.

What I’m really impressed with (aside from great textures and patterns) is how smoothly this line ties in with other brands, embellishments, etc. Knowing that really makes it a great value to me, as I know I can count on it to be versatile.

I used some Webster’s Pages trims and a flower (cut in 1/2 and placed at bottom) as well as my sizzix leaf dies with DCWV cardstock (then painted/inked) for my leaves.

I love how perfectly the trims worked with the paper, and that the cardstock is a texture that allows easy journaling. Being able to play up the cream, green, or blue tones in this line (and play down the corals) is another cool thing.

FYI – I used three 4×6 photos that I cropped down to fit across the page. Here’s one more detail shot…
