CHA 2015: Amy Tangerine for American Crafts

From her first line, I’ve always enjoyed Amy Tan’s paper lines with American Crafts and this is no exception.

Rise and Shine brings in Amy’s signature happy colors and fun designs, and adds in some new products as well.

LOOOVING the tape strips + epoxy accents…

What you’ll always hear me praise – is that this line is fresh & new but still goes well with many of her older products. YES for making the things I still have  from older lines feel relevant and extending that shelf life. YES for making timeless products that rock.

And yes, I am officially obsessed with succulent plants because they were everywhere and so cute!

CHA 2015: Brenda Walton, French General, Where Women Cook, and Eileen Hull for Sizzix

That title is a mouthful, isn’t it?! We’ve already seen Tim Holtz for Sizzix in an earlier post, now it’s time to look around the booth at some of the great lines releasing over the next few months.

French General is up first, and their dies will allow you to create some nifty little boxes, decorations, and more.

Their sweet little shelves of project samples were precious – I just wish it had been easier to photograph!

Here you see a few of the “XL” Bigz dies…

CHA 2015: Lawn Fawn

cha (401) copy

Who is the absolute cutest stamp company around that is undeniably KILLING IT with each new release? That’d be Lawn Fawn.

cha (371) copy

They hit on trend with succulents (seriously – even I want some of this cute!) and they’ve released their own dye ink pads (I will try and report back once available!).

Oh but wait, there’s more… Continue reading “CHA 2015: Lawn Fawn”

CHA 2015: Pebbles and Doodlebug

Or as I’m calling them: gnomes and leprechauns! You’ll see why in a minute – as these are the stars of my favorite things from these booths.

First: Pebbles

“Home Grown” is full of florals sure, but primary colors, gnomes, and mushrooms too! I just loved this one. So cute.

469 copy

As always, Pebbles had a great booth and samples too.

472 copy

Oh and a “DIY” type crafty but self contained photo garland kit too. I’m really loving the idea of a single product/kit being gifted to a “I’m not crafty” person who can test out our love of all things paper.

Another line – “Happy Day” reminded me a bit of the garden and other lines from last year. Cute… but I’ll probably pass. Note the instagram type camera and coffee cups – both very hot images to use this show.

Then I headed over to Doodlebug not expecting what I found, what made the skies open and angels sing…

mini. doilies. Look at the scale and look at my hand there. These are SMALL. I’m in love. I want all the colors. Well ok, I do not want brown or black but I want all the others. Speaking of yum – check out the rainbow of glittery enamel goodness…

1363 copy

What could be at the end of that rainbow? Why the cutest St. Patrick’s Day line of all time! I adore this – and I love seeing this holiday in a paper line.

1368 copy

Just a few shamrocks and some cute stickers and I’m off…

So both leprechauns and gnomes represented on the show floor – who’d have thought?

CHA 2015: Julie Fei-Fan Balzer stamps for Impression Obsession

cha (252) copy

If you’re a fan of rubber stamps + Julie Fei-Fan Balzer then you’ll need to be watching for these!

cha (253) copy

These designs would let me have the feel of Julie’s hand carved rubber stamps – without carving them myself!

cha (254) copy

It is a small release right now – but I’m hoping we’ll see more of Julie’s stamps and designs become sets that those of us who are not master carvers or artists can enjoy.

cha (255) copy

These are produced by Impression Obsession, and should be available soon at stores and I’m guessing their own website as well.
