Yes, Please!

It is no surprise that I love the new Amy Tangerine collection Yes, Please. It combines fresh spring colors, fun design elements, and a wide variety of great products. I’ve already been digging in and totally LOVING each and every bit that I have from the corrugated paper to the stamps. 097
The thing that is fantastic about Amy’s products is that she GETS IT. She makes lines and products that work well with each other, with other brands, and with her previous lines as well. When I buy an Amy Tangerine scrapbook product I know I’m getting something that I’ll love, and that will have a longer shelf life in my craft supply stash if needed because it is something useful.
101

I’ve already made ten (yes, TEN) projects with this line. I love that I don’t get bored or feel like I’m doing repetitive stuff with these products. I just use + love them. (have i mentioned the love yet?!) The patterns, the colors, it is all just so fresh and such a delight. I can’t gush enough about this line and really any of Amy’s lines in general.

Here are some of my favorite products from this line…

Here’s a layout I made just to share here today. You’ll note my title is sloppy, that isn’t the fault of the stamps. I intentionally wiggled some of the letters so that I’d get that edging of black, that messy look. Speaking of the stamps – I LOVE these. I can’t stop using them. The colored (corrugated) paper? Can’t have enough of it! Love the texture and the colors it is available in too.

You can expect to see a lot more of this line in my future crafting, and here on my blog too. I have a review of the embroidery stencil and slick writers coming next week. In the meantime – happy crafting!!

Yes, Please is now available in stores including 2peas, Simon Says Stamp, Blue Moon, Scrapbook.com, and more

CHA Spotlight: Yes, Please

From American Crafts:

Adventure through city park landscapes with the hand-drawn playfulness of Amy Tangerine Yes, Please. Watercolors accent the canvas, with a pleasing mix of soft and bold hues depicting scenes of the city, nature and that classic Amy Tangerine camera. Paint the town fun with Amy Tangerine Yes, Please.

Twenty-four patterns papers, Thickers, stickers, stamps and Daybooks are just the base of this lovely and extensive new line. Amy Tangerine Yes, Please also includes new embellishments like wood veneer tags, an embroidery stencil kit and a calendar stamp unlike anything else.

This line is fantastic and I think the photos speak for themselves – I can not wait to get my hands on it and PLAY!! Definitely one of my favorites of the show…

layout | a beautiful place

A scrap from my Studio Calico April kit, a sheet of new SC paper and Hawaii wood veneer accent, and a little of this and a little of that… and suddenly I had myself a page just for fun that helped me clean up my desk at the same time.

My journaling is on a bit of paper from Heidi Swapp. It comes together like a mini book… I tore it all apart and have been LOVING playing with it.

In a surprising turn of events, I’m obsessed with that orange + yellow Studio Calico paper. I ordered 3 more sheets and I NEVER do that. I can’t help it. I need many many sheets of it. The back side is a beautiful pattern too… love the Take Note line.

It felt good to sneak in some creative “just because” time, and play. Supplies used are listed/linked below:

new layout | Amy Tangerine Sketchbook

If you switch the first two letters in May you get… Amy!

Kind of geeky of me to notice perhaps, but I couldn’t resist scrapbooking a photo of myself + Amy Tan at CHA taken in front of her new line Sketchbook, with that same line!

Just a squirt of pink mist, a bit of a daybook (I tore out the mat that is under my photos from a daybook – they’re great whole or in pieces!), and some accents later and I had myself a super fast layout.

I’m excited with how FANTASTIC this line is to work with for my photos – you’ll be seeing loads with it from me in the future for sure. Also? Totally blendable with her first line (a few elements here are from that).

I’m going to make a new “me” album (I do this for layouts that have nothing to do with the rest of my family) – this one is going to be CHA/scrapbook event related I’m betting I get 2 years or so worked into it. Looking forward to more scrapbook friends, adventures, and good times in 2012…

So, at long last I got to meet the incredibly talented Miss Amy Tan (who is so delightful, happy, and all around on my favorites list), and she’s unveiling her second line with American Crafts. Now, her first line I ADORE. I have used most every paper. TWICE. So to say I’ve been anticipating this line would be an understatement.
