So, at long last I got to meet the incredibly talented Miss Amy Tan (who is so delightful, happy, and all around on my favorites list), and she’s unveiling her second line with American Crafts. Now, her first line I ADORE. I have used most every paper. TWICE. So to say I’ve been anticipating this line would be an understatement.
The hype I built up in my mind? Amy exceeded it. I’m blown away. LOVE this, and am counting the days until I can get it in my hands and play with the lovely papers and bits of this line.
Here are some more photos I took from her (adorable) display…
above? that’s a close-up of her new daybook. *ADORE* The watercolor + black & white image is something I’ve been trying to ply with and I think Amy NAILED the look.
and finally, a few glimpses of some of her patterned papers. I really love how the bright pops of color can be downplayed with some neutrals if you don’t want it quite so bright. Also that the pieces (both embellishments and papers) are so useful in any variety of ways.
Is it mid-March yet? Because I seriously CAN NOT WAIT to play with this line…
