I do so love florals and spring colors- so instead of doing a “Valentine” feeling with this light I went for spring/floral in general so it can be up longer! I used the new Heidi Swapp heart, paper, and lights that I found at Michael’s and went for it.
When I saw this card in the new Photo Play Paper papers I knew I would want to create a wood panel project around it. But how best to display that?
Well, I happen to have a whole lot of embellishments around just perfect for the job! For this project I used the Just Peachy bottle and the Attic Findings kit.
Love the results! If you’re looking for this great paper line you can find it (affiliate link used) at Scrapbook.com. The project is on a Prima wood panel, but a canvas would work as well, or even a photo frame!
Well if anything would pull me out of my not having of any of these… it would be Halloween! I used the AWESOME new Heidi Swapp tape + (generic brand) acrylic paint + orange bulbs to color this. I edged with black ink and backed the holes with kraft glassine (Tim Holtz).
This was a great experiment! I’ll be back soon with a different shape – this time with glitter… In the meantime watch for that great tape to show up again, and if you’re looking for something similar I see that (affiliate link) amazon.com has Heidi pumpkins coming soon…
For a LONG time (12 years? more?!) I’ve loved Buttons Galore buttons! They have fantastic value packs, big bags ‘o fun, and well – I recommend them whole heartedly! So I was excited when they asked me if I’d be interested in doing a guest post!
