Spring break give away #5

It started with a box of Lilly Pulitzer animal crackers… And then some distress stain, my new favorite sassafras alphas, a craft knife…. And well- I’m going to keep stuffing this package full for one of you!

I am in the cleaning mode too but not finding fun things like you. I am guessing you are spending lots of time with your daughters during this spring break.   51. My friend has been telling me about Stamper’s Corner for months now and today she took me down there…we live about 30 miles away. I spent a couple of hours ooowing and aaawwwing over various displays. Then went home and signed up for their newsletter and stumbled on your site…lol omg been here for about an hour so far too!   74. I wish they’d quit marketing their brand of animal crackers as “circus animals” when animals are treated so poorly in circuses (especially the Ringling Barnum and Bailey one. Their list of USDA citations just goes on and on, not to mention the animals who keep dropping dead on them, like Kenny, the baby elephant they forced to perform when he was sick, killing him.) Why can’t they call them “Wild Animals” They’re darn fine cookies…they shouldn’t be named after something so horrible. (And who’s ever seen a circus hippoo, anyway?)

    I do love Lilly though! 🙂 I had a fabulous suit coat of my dad’s she designed. My mom bought it for him in the 60’s. It was orange with red and yellow and white dot thingies on it. I adored it and wore it all the time in high school. Then one day he threw it away! I was shocked! How could someone throw away something that magnificient?!
