note: thank you Lisa for figuring out the book I was talking about! My brain is at peace. 🙂
ripe, warm from the sun tomatos. MMMM. We’ve got a grape and a cherry- which means that we get little bites of delicious available 24/7. What could be better? I dunno…
I agree mine are up and ready too. . . we have a orange grape (by accident) and a big boy! Nothing taste like a fresh one straight from the garden!

My daughter would be totally jealous! She will only eat grape tomatos fresh while standing by the garden. If they come from the store or are picked and brought in the house she wrinkles her nose and won’t eat them. LOL. Plus she doesn’t call them grape tomatoes, they are squirting tomatoes!
I was looking ALL over the place this spring for some nice heirlooms, but alas could not find any. I guess maybe they’re an American thing…
But I did get some pre-grown plants at the nursery and now I’m just waiting… waiting… waiting…
At least the strawberries are ripe!
I love to slice the little ones in half and add a little FF Italian dressing on them…oh yum… maybe even a little chunks of mozzarella and some fresh basil!
Enjoy!
