Happy Holidays! I was looking around at stamps and realized I have a scene stamp that a) would look great watercolored and b) would be a breeze with my ScanNCut!
The holidays are always a busy time but I find it is important to carve little bits of time to create. Over the next week I’ll be sharing all kinds of projects & ideas that I am doing here! I hope they inspire you.
This process for this particular project is:
- Stamp in archival ink on watercolor paper
- Scan into ScanNCut, verify the pattern, and cut out. I selected a .12 border
- Color the stamp as desired, and add any glitter glue, glossy medium, etc
- Assemble a card, and add a sentiment!
It truly is that easy! I had so much fun making this and I’m excited to mail it off now. Here is a video tutorial if you’d like a closer look at the ScanNCut part of the process.
the usual disclaimer here – I do work with Brother (a job I LOVE!) as a paid consultant, but all ideas & opinions about the awesome ScanNCut are 100% my own at all times.
I’m off to spend the weekend gift wrapping, adding crafty touches, and prepping for a party with friends… what are you up to?
Happy Saturday! What a pretty card! Just finished a round of baking last night to help out with our public library’s annual fundraiser. I’m watching cheesy Christmas movies like it’s my job — for some reason this time of year I just want positive fluff to watch. need to go hit Target and the grocery store — trying to find some ambition to do so — ha!
I wanted to see the whole card come together! I continue to be amazed by what you can do with the scan n cut. I need to dust mine off and get busy.
So so pretty
