Today I’m back with two cards- these cards were inspired by lessons #3 and #4 in my free scrapbook.com class. I had such fun raiding my die cut drawer and stacking details up!

I pulled out some die cuts, layered, and stitched them into place. Then I added a few more – and added a deer head on foam adhesive. When creating a card like this I like to pick a few pieces at a time. I also like to add texture! The stitching worked well, but I also added in some buttons & embellishments from the Attic Findings kit (link to scrapbook.com)
Here is my finished card:
As you can see just a few strategic embellishments and the card was done! I used some Heidi Swapp (link) from an embellishment pouch and then some Crate Paper bits and pieces as well.
For my second card I edged cardstock and stamped in Lawn Fawn Guava (link) – my current absolute favorite color ink!
From there the process was similar – but fewer pieces. I really love ephemera packs from Crate Paper – I hope they never stop making them! This one is a few years old and I’m glad I got it out and used up.

I signed up for your class at Scrapbook.com last week, that is my favorite store, I was so happy to see you doing free classes over there and I signed up right away.
I especially love the heart card where I could use parts of watercoloured flowers that failed as a whole card and lots of mu too big stack of scrappaper; thank you for the inspiration….
Love these both! They would make great scrapbook pages, too.
I just love the stitching and layers, really, really pretty. I have a question about the affiliate links? If I click on a link, and add something to a cart, but don’t check out til some time later (my birthday, end of the month, wouldn’t be same day), would you still get credit for it? Or should I just come through here every time I want to look just to be sure? That’s ok, I don’t mind doing that, I’m just afraid I’ll forget and I want to use the link. I hope this makes sense. Thanks. Michelle t
Beautiful card with lovely layers
I’m sorry my question was inappropriate. I won’t worry about it.
