When I think of homegrown summer (this week’s challenge) I got to wondering if I could make an apple or other fruit tree out of the new Hero Arts tree stamps. Some distress ink (and waterproof dye ink for the trunk) later… and the answer is yes! I’ve got an apple tree ready to harvest!
Supplies Used:
I did the apples in Lobster dye ink – LOVING this red! Want to see a tutorial how I’ve been playing with layering ink colors on this stamp? I have a YouTube video up (link) sharing more.

This is GENIUSness! Fruity Yummy Geniusness! The way you did the leaves and apples is so clever! Good thing I didn’t make any bets on how you did this because I would’ve put up a lot of cash thinking this was made with traditional watercolors. I love how you are always thinking of ways to utilize our stash!
