I got a little metal edge with my embossed (hand cut) heart element, and I had a lot of fun using red Dylusions paint + White Gesso + brown ink to create my background. Loads of mixed media elements happening – but simple card! The black words are from the new Tim Holtz Chit Chat… loving the bigger size!

May, I really love this card! I love the texture, how it looks like a piece of a metal thing (yeah my great terminology), how the kraft type color or paper shows through, the stitching. All of it. I really love all of your cards they are all awesome but this one has really jumped out at me. Love! Michelle t
What a lovely card! The stitching gives it that nice homemade touch 🙂

Really cool looking card May
Lovely May!
Beautiful card, May! The heart is so pretty and so is the background! Hugs, Sandra
Love the colors and textures on this card. Wonderful design! 🙂
I love the simplicity here (less is always more IMHO) and what a clever way to use that embossing die. You’ve given me great inspiration for creating a card for my hubby.
You know I love your stitching, May! And you’re always so innovative. I don’t think I would’ve ever though to make a card have a cool faux-metal-panel texture like that. Brilliant!
I adore the embossed heart which makes such a strong and striking impact on the front of your beautiful card! Just fabulous, May! 🙂
Love the grungy edgy design with the fun metallic heart! Perfect for a masculine or feminine card!
From the embossing to the stitching there is so much wonderful texture in your card! I love the colors you chose to play with, too! TFS!
