I used a dreamy Dina Wakley stamp as well as some fun stencil work (background), wood stars, and a few other details to bring this tag together.

I love how the shades of blue all come together, and the textures on this simple tag.

The stencil is done with glossy gel medium/embossing paste so that it resisted all other color mediums layered on top.

  1. Ok, after 4 days in the hospital I’m raring to go with my comment. I love this, it’s so beautiful! The supply link didn’t work for me, is that a doily? (I don’t think I spelled that right). Anyway, I don’t have them and I think it’s really pretty and another layer of texture. I have that stencil, and I love how it turned out here. Your coloring/inking is so well done. I’ve never worked with tags, I am so behind on my scrapbooking, but I am really wanting to try them as another outlet for my creativity. I’m sorry to go on, it’s a great tag, May. Michelle t

  2. I don’t know how you continue to come up these amazing designs, May. Love that Dina Wakley stamp!

  3. I love the song this quote was taken from. It goes back to my childhood. My dad played this record and I learned all the songs he played. Your card is very cool.

  4. Oh this is beautiful, love all the texture and gorgeous blue tones. May, I have “stalked” you long enough to recognize your wonderful work without seeing it by you. Just love your style and Art!

  5. Like several others I am drawn to the gorgeous blue background. Your tag came together beautifully. Everything fits!

  6. OK, love how you colored the doily which sets off her hair color, love the sentiment down the side with the stitching leading to the stars & sparkles, the stars above her head with the stitching, stencil. Love this!

  7. I love your interpretation of this week’s challenge and I absolutely adore your tag ~ wonderful as always, May! 🙂
