Challenge: Good ‘ol days…

This week’s challenge got me thinking about my grandma’s cabin in the woods, pinecones, and well, I went down a nostalgic crafty path.

This new texture folder is so fantastic – and it got me thinking about woodland colors, pinecones, and considering a more rustic color palette for the holidays. I love that I can craft and think through ideas while creating projects! This particular tag will top a gift/package this Christmas.

I loved tucking all the buttons, brads, and trims into this tag.

Fun doesn’t begin to describe how much I enjoyed making this tag.

  3. Oh, I really like it. My style is very modern and minimalist. But when the weather turns cooler and the holidays approach I get very nostalgic about our first home, in the woods, and all things northwoods style.

  4. I am going to have to try that color scheme because it’s so gloriously awesome! I love the way that green just seems to glow against the brown. Great work!

  5. You’ve captured the feel of Grandma’s cabin and the woods perfectly with this tag ~ it’s gorgeous, May and I LOVE your background! 🙂

  6. I love how you’ve not only created a clever scene here, but you’ve totally reminded me of every good cabin memory I have! I love art that evokes emotion and you nailed it!
