To do a card like mine, color specialty stamping paper with purple distress ink. Then flick with water. THEN clear emboss the cats. Now that color is set, add more colors, more stamping, and anything you like! I love this trick.

For my other card it was just misting. Wild stamping. Play. I love black ink + bold colors!

Also? I am ready for fall. SO READY. I am over summer. I keep trying to paint my nails in jewel tones and I long for the weather to get cool so I can wear cardigans and jeans once again…

  2. Neat cards. Love the purple, and the black with the vibrant colors. Really pops. Not me, not over summer yet, it’s flying by. Oh I like fall, I’m just not ready for back to school. So not up for it. Michelle t

  3. Hi May, I absolutely adore the cats. Thanks for telling the secret. I think I will give this a go. Perfect effect for the Halloweeny season. Big hugs.

  4. LOVE how these cards turned out, May! My favorite part is that they are done in such a lovely and yet non-traditional color palette. You’ve totally inspired me to re-visit my Halloween perspective!

  5. Both of these are such fantastic cards! I love the colour palette and the embossing on the first one, which really makes the image pop! These are just so much fun, May! 🙂
