A lot of CHA posts/booths still to post
A new challenge
Lots of new things happening this week – today I’ve got A new project to share, and if you hadn’t guessed yet, the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge this week is “A is for…” which leaves it WIDE open!! I went with using A few new products from A shop that is my favorite! (Simon!)
I’m in a very hearts-y mood – and these stamps + dies from Simon were the PERFECT choice for me this week!
1. Stamp background with heart stamp + white embossing powder and heat set.
2. Use shadow ink + blending tool on background.
3. Die cut various hearts from cardstock. white paint on one, stickles on the outline hearts.
4. Assemble! Adhere the hearts on, then add the dimensional accent to finish it off.
Fun note: I stamped in black ink and it looked AWFUL… therefore the dimensional accent was used as a cover-up. Just A reminder that you can always make it work!
Simon is, as always, offering a generous $50 voucher that will be randomly drawn from the eligible entries each week. Join the fun by creating a project this week – and for your chance to win a $50 voucher you should hop on over and join in the challenge here.
As I mentioned earlier – today my new on-line class (with eight fabulous contributors!) begins!! Creative Retreat is live right now – meaning that lessons will be added over the next ten days. Then, once done the class will remain open and available to students for as long as they like! If you’d like to sign up + save $2 off registration then just use this link! It will automatically take the discount off for you.
