4×6 photo love.

If you know me at all, you know I’m all about the 4×6 printed photos. They’re my go-to, they’re featured on 98% of my layouts. Today Shimelle unveiled the 5th installment of her “4×6 photo love” free class at 2peas, and I’m one of the contributors.

First off: grey. Who knew? It’s the first time on record that I’ve used grey as a background and I love it! The sketch is a simple one – and I had a real good time mixing all that Pink Paislee paper in with other bits & pieces.

The ‘characters’ in the title was made by setting down Girls’ Paperie chipboard letters and misting (studio calico white + TA glimmer mist in blue) over them. Then I took the letters off, scribbled outline in black pen, and that’s it! The chipboard letters are back in my box to be re-used, and I love the sketchy effect.

Be sure to drop in at Shimelle’s blog to get all kinds of linkage + see all the layouts and her video too.

  1. May, I love your LO. I really like how the letters for your title came out. I’m going to have to try that myself. Have a great memorial day.

  2. I’ve used grey twice this month for the first time, and I’m thinking I need to buy some more. I have some EP gray polka dot on it’s way to me right now. Love your page!
