The girls and I have really been enjoying Mary Engelbreit’s “Fairy Tales”. It’s a bunch of classic fairy tales, told in very short format (just a few pages each) with amazing illustrations. I love that the stories are short (so we can read more than one) but also the images are so detailed it gets the girls talking about what’s going on in the story, etc.
I totally recommend it.
Beauty and the Beast, one of my favorites, even the Disney version of this is AWESOME! Fairy Tales are kind of One of my things and they still sometimes bring tears to my eyes. This one has such beautiful sad parts when the Beast is sick because Belle is not with him…

It’s my favorite fairy tale, and one I have read in many forms (as well as seen on movies) and just love it. 🙂
Um…I bought this book for ME! I did read it to my daughter. She’ll be 17 Friday.
We have Mary Engelbreit’s Nursery Rhymes and Nursery Tales books too. The illustrations are just lovely.
We have her “Night Before Christmas” which we love!
