I sent five layouts in to Margie for her appearance on HSN yesterday. My hope being a few would work for her – and she’d have choices. I assumed she wouldn’t have time to show every page, but that having options in such a situation would surely be good. Anyhow, today I’m going to share the two you didn’t see…
I used blue thread + some Tim Holtz distress stickle “dots” around the edge on this one. The Girls’ Paperie die cuts are so mcuh fun – love them on this page (the ledger is one of my favorite papers!)
Then I used another fave paper – the quilted one (that’s what I call it)…
I stitched most of the spots where (on the paper) white stitch-like marks appear…
Until Matilda (aka old sew machine) got cranky. It didn’t take as long as you might think and was loads of fun. Stitching + Paper Girl (this line of paper) = fantastic. LOVE IT!
So much fun playing with pretty paper going on around here… until next time, happy crafting!
love these layouts!!!! and also the content within!!! very nice!!!
Your details are fabulous!
Both pages are great but I LOVE the first one. The blue thread border with the dots of color is funky and cool but doesn’t distract from the photos. Nice!
I love your blog and your work. Though you don’t know me, I just wanted to let you know I did get the Girls Paperie kit on HSN yesterday based on your great recommendation! Can’t wait to get it and play! 🙂

Love the “patchwork” page. Can’t believe how big the girls are getting…love that layout too!!!! Sewing on layouts just adds so much. 🙂
I’m going to a crop this weekend….can I take you with me? 🙂 Love these pages! (as always)
Cute pages. Very disappointed M. was only on in the middle of the night!
all your layouts came out so cute and i’m sure all the HSN viewers thought the same thing
Just love how you stitched around the edges of each of the “blocks” on the quilted paper!
