detour.

Going to draw winner (scissors prize) later. stay tuned. First, a detour.

Saturday the girls and I visited daddy at work and we detoured down a few exits to 4th St to do some Christmas (not sucessful) shopping and while there I got to hit one of the most drool-worthy scrapbook stores I know. (Scrapbook Territory in Berkeley, CA) and I should have known she’d have tempting goods like…

034

COME TO MAMA!!! That’s the damask stuff dreams are made of. Wait, is there more?

032

I was surprised both of these dreamy stamps were Memory Box. Since I do love that stamp company and all I let them come home with me. I mean, what if someone who isn’t a damask/brocade LOVING FREAK tried to buy them? No, they belong here with me. :o)

But then a muse (a company I’ve not bought from before) had this stamp that made me so happy.

Seriously how me is this stamp? Can’t wait to play with it and the others.

That’s the news from my detour… thanks for reading.

  1. Cool stamps. Can’t wait to see what you create with them.

Don’t you just love it when stamps call your name. If they aren’t calling my name then somehow they jump in my basket & follow me home. lol (That’s my story & I’m sticking to it! lol)

  2. Great stamps! I didn’t know you are in the Bay Area~I LOVE Scrapbook Territory! Are you going to the Card Stamping event on Nov. 23rd? Hope to see you there! I’ll bring my Stampers Anonymous Damask image for you to borrow : )

  3. Nice stamps, looks like you scored big time! I love the Bay Area, it’s my husband’s home town (San Jose) and we lived in San Carlos for a few years. I’ll have to make a trip to Berkeley next time we are out, that store sounds cool.

  4. i’m the same way: “these need to come home with me, where i will appreciate them. they can’t end up with someone who doesn’t love them.”

i got into some more penguin trouble at donna jean’s (carson city store) last monday. :]
