So I’m working hard, feeling a tad overwhelmed, and working harder. Don’t get me wrong- I love all the hats I wear and jobs I do… but today has been a rough one. So then I see that the photos on www.fiskarscrafts.com got updated today for our design team.

and I have to tell you- seeing these smiling faces makes me smile myself. I have the pleasure of working with these ladies and bringing new projects and inspiration to the site every week (sometimes daily!) and it truly is wonderful. I just wanted to take a minute tonight to share my happy moment with you all…

I’m here… just not here. If that makes any sense.

That’s my desk when last photographed. In a moment I’ll be under it cleaning out chipboard central… and probably doing a give away (as well as drawing a winner for my last prize!) As you can probably tell I have about five too many projects currently going… thus the blog silence.

See those orange punches? Candy corn punch + pumpkin punch. Can not begin to tell you how I adore them. They’re limited edition squeeze punches- so limited in fact that I couldn’t get them!!! I had to go searching and buy them myself. I have a feeling they’ll be selling out too. I got mine at scrapbook.com, and I’ve also heard they’re at joanne’s.

Well I’m heading back to my batcave. Just wanted to pop in and say I’m here, if you lived in the neighborhood I’d invite you over but since you don’t, just waving a virtual hi. 🙂

How cute are these girls??? I know I’m biased, but still. I have a whole series from this shoot that turned out cute, and I can’t wait to get them developed.

Well, seeing as how I want to catch a few hours sleep… I’ll save a bigger post for tomorrow. Now I’m off to sleep. Have a good game-day! 🙂

we do a lot of reading time here- Elizabeth especially loved having her aunt here to read on-demand. Good times.

Gotta love a 20min or less layout. 🙂 This one used up some left overs I had on the table. I’ve got a bunch of paperwork/e-mail to finish up so I can go PLAY over at fiskateers party tomorrow… hopefully…

One evening while my sister was here we put on full make up and did a quick photo shoot. I always try to either have a (distant) background, or if it’s close make sure it’s neutral and won’t take away from the headshot style pic.

It was fun taking pictures of an adult subject for a change, and especially one who doesn’t pose like this…

Don’t get me wrong- I love Jason’s goofy photo poses. (but) it’s nice to have somebody who wants pretty pics. I decided to de-saturate and add a decorative border/frame on this one…

Love it! Man I do love photoshop elements. Right now though, as I sit and talk pictures I think about 2 things.

1. I need to start learning more about my camera. It’s smarter than me by a long shot, and I need to figure that bad boy out. It has a DVD to watch, and a manual to read. Guess I’d better stop procrastinating!

2. I need to give away a copy of paper + pixels!!! Whenever I do fun photo editing like on my sister’s photo above I think about how much I learned writing that book, and how much I love the book!
