Don’t be scared! Pumpkin Marquee Love by Heidi Swapp

Well if anything would pull me out of my not having of any of these… it would be Halloween! I used the AWESOME new Heidi Swapp tape + (generic brand) acrylic paint + orange bulbs to color this. I edged with black ink and backed the holes with kraft glassine (Tim Holtz).

This was a great experiment! I’ll be back soon with a different shape – this time with glitter… In the meantime watch for that great tape to show up again, and if you’re looking for something similar I see that (affiliate link) amazon.com has Heidi pumpkins coming soon…

Painted pumpkin with fabric leaves featuring ScanNCut

They’ve exploded all over my local craft store. Pumpkins. From craft foam to paper mache- they’re around but you know? Not usually the prettiest. I picked up a few and this fall I’ll be sharing my how-to’s and tips for redecorating. First up? This painted pumpkin with a bounty of fabulous fabric leaves!
