Blog Hop time! Simon Says Stamp has a new batch of products – and I’m excited to share with you projects featuring a mom stencil and a dad stencil.

For this card, I put gel medium on the backwards side of the stencil (aka the side of stencil I’d want to “stamp”), and then sprayed with dylusions mists.

Then I pressed onto cardstock – what this did was to create a textured background – love the look!

My other stencil was a dad one. For this I placed the stencil on kraft cardstock and covered with a heavy layer of white paint. Then I removed the stencil and sprayed a load of Dylusions. LOVE this technique! texture, color, and quick too.

  444. I’m loving the color variation you got by “stamping” with your stencil. Some of the letters look marbled or crackled. The white paint technique is also great.
