Blog Hop time! Simon Says Stamp has a new batch of products – and I’m excited to share with you projects featuring a mom stencil and a dad stencil.
For this card, I put gel medium on the backwards side of the stencil (aka the side of stencil I’d want to “stamp”), and then sprayed with dylusions mists.
Then I pressed onto cardstock – what this did was to create a textured background – love the look!
My other stencil was a dad one. For this I placed the stencil on kraft cardstock and covered with a heavy layer of white paint. Then I removed the stencil and sprayed a load of Dylusions. LOVE this technique! texture, color, and quick too.
Ready to check out the other new products? They’re all up in the Simon shop right here. Here are links to the other supplies I’ve used here:
Oh yes – and FYI Simon has a fun giveaway for this hop! We will randomly pick one winner from each stop on the hop to win 2 brand new, not-yet released ink pads and coordinating packs of cardstock from the new collection! The giveaways for the ink/cardstock will close at 6:00pm EST on Thursday April 10, 2014 a complete winners list will be posted on the Simon blog on Friday April 11, 2014.
Now that you know all about the give-aways, if you’d like to keep on the hop then the next stop is the always fabulous Nichol Magouirk!
