no rules, just happy crafting
Somebody had a rough couple of weeks! First she got spayed and then two weeks later got super ill and has been recouping from no doubt eating something bad. She’s all good now – but I had to share this sweet photo of her resting on my chair and forcing me to be a stand-up kind of crafter.

Sometimes, you just have to treat yourself. In my case, to celebrate an all time low in my weight and to add some fresh pieces to my fall wardrobe I added four new things – not because I particularly needed any one of them but because I loved them and wanted them in my closet. Just thought I’d share.
I was excited when Ruby Rock-It contacted me and asked if I’d like to play with their new “Handi Scandi” line.
Loving the colors and patterns – I made four different cards with bits and pieces.
Loving sparkle + red and blue.

So this week the challenge theme is “Anything goes” I figure since it does in fact say ANYTHING, that I would take on the craft project that is vital this time of year. What I gather:
What I don’t do is go overboard with amounts – I would rather use/empty it out a bit and then add more vs have so much that I can’t find things. I also don’t put solid color/neutral stuff in unless it is scraps left over from other projects.
Now that I’ve got my supplies, I should be ready to craft up a storm… right? RIGHT??? 😉

I used a fantastic Winnie & Walter BIG set ‘o little Halloween stamps to design my own background “live” on air during a class chat. (if you’re in class – you can watch that video in the extras section!) This was inspired by an Ashli Oliver Layout – and I love the results the more I look at it!
While I know some people think I do things randomly – the truth is there is a lot of formula and tried & true stuff in my style. So it was fun to try something new – and to have it work out!
