Spotlight | She Art by Christy Tomlinson

I’ve known (from her blog) that Christy Tomlinson was working on a product line, but when I saw that she was working with Pink Paislee on it, well, that just made it extra awesome!

Above you can see Christy doing a demonstration in the booth. In fact – if you want to watch a video of that demo check out Melissa Stinson was taking a video (as I shot this photo, in fact!) and you can see it here.

But let’s get to the product that is so totally Christy – bursting with color and layers of pattern.

above: a paper that clearly has MAY written all over it!
Some really cool rub-ons (above) – love that the stitches have black AND white on same sheet. This product could easily be used for scrapbook and paper craft projects, but also for her signature style of mixed media funk. So now  let’s see Christy’s product in use on some canvases that she made for the booth…

And here’s another. Do you see that stencil in use? the blue painted flower/doily looking one? Can not WAIT to get that!!!

If you are looking at the product and her work, you can really see how she utilized the pieces of the line to do her thing. I LOVE that. Here’s one more sample because seriously? I could never tire of looking at these…

This makes me want to run out and get creative! Love it!

  1. I took Christy’s She Art class at Spark. I am totally hooked on her now!! Love, love, love the colorful papers. Can’t wait to get my hands on her new products from both Pink Paislee and Unity Stamps!!!!

  2. Ha! Ever since I saw the first peek at Pink Paislee, I have been saving my pennies! I have a feeling it will be hard to keep it in stock-yes?
