It’s a new year – and while I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions, I am all for fresh starts and getting things off on the right foot. I also want to add more flourish in 2011. I’m not sure what all I mean by that yet- except right now I do mean it literally in my crafting. You see, I recently added 3 more Tim Holtz  flourish stamps to my stash.
The one on the bottom is the one I’ve had a few years now, and I have to tell you I am kicking myself for not getting more of these sooner! I prefer wood mounted. I just do. They work better for me, and I have a tendency to pull them out more. Anyhow, I ordered these from www.simonsaysstamp.com and wow. Already letting them work into my layouts & projects here and there in subtle (and not so subtle) ways. I promise to share some “for examples” real soon.
For now, I’m off to end my 1st day of this new year by working on some stuff for the Girls’ Paperie winter CHA show… can’t wait to share more…
I like the older flourish stamp too – when tim came out with masks I loved the flourish mask – it made amazing designs and I used it so much that I had to replace it. Glad to see you are off to a refreshing 2011!
Like the new flourish stamps May, I’ve decided this year to be a little more “artsy” and pull out paints, mists, and stamps a lot more often this year and learn to use them. I’ve been browsing Tim’s site and want to get more of his products and start using them.
LOVE the flourishes!! Thanks for the inspiration!! Happy New Year! 🙂
Love your new stamps. Like you, I prefer the wood mounted stamps. Yes, they take up more space but they’re a “grab & use” stamp which is 1 of the reasons I prefer them.
Those look great. I prefer wood stamps too – I use them more because they’re all ready to go
