my idea of Valentine’s Day.

Remember being in school and giving out little loves to everyone in class? Conversation hearts, chocolates, and paper valentines for everyone.

In our family, Valentine’s day has always been about love. Not just romance, but love for family, friends, and anyone else that you cherish. This is the focus I’ve always had on Valentine’s day, and I think it’s a good one because no matter what is going on in my life there is always someone I cherish and love and can be happy to have in my life.

I got the girls (because I couldn’t resist!) each a baby my little pony. It goes without saying they are LOVING “balen-times” already. We haven’t even gotten to the snickerdoodles portion of the day…

Have a happy day, and may it be filled with love!

  1. I don’t know how you do it all May…I have the class and my kids, oh and my husband, and I can’t keep up this weekend. Happy Valentine’s Day (a day late but hey I swear I am always a day behind).

  2. So cute! I love that it’s Balen-times. Hope you had a great day with the family yesterday!

I couldn’t resist cute gift for the kiddos either. My husband said I made it like a mini-Christmas. I just wanted the kids to know that I love them and pay attention to what they are interested in.

And did you say snickerdoodles? Yummy!
